handwired macropad
this..this was my adhd project.
client wanted a big lcd display, low profile switches, big horizontal encoder, hotswap
i designed the whole case to me repairable and easy to modify, if the user want to disassemble down to each printed part then they can and reassemble with ease

step one was to design the case to house everything perfectly, hotswap socket fit on a seprate plate with its clean wiring, same goes for the display
the hardest part of the build was to make it so the horiontal encoder is not epoxied/permamently glued to the case so its easy for maintanance and repair which took several iterations
in the end the case was 1.5 cm or 15mm thick with everything densly packed inside

took a lot of time to design and build but very much worth it in the end
